Electrocardiogram, pulmonary function testing, x-rays, cardiac stress testing, DEXA, and most primary laboratory studies can be performed in the office.   Unfortunately, the availability of these tests for you during your visit solely depends on your insurance carrier.  We will help you with your insurance coverage in selecting the correct place for you to received testing that can't be done in our office. 

We strongly recommend that you, the consumer, familiarize yourself with your insurance coverage.  There are many insurers that change your availability to have these tests done and how they are paid.  Our staff makes every effort to keep abreast of these changes.  We also rely on you to know your insurance coverage and its limitations and expectations.  When we receive the results of testing that have normal results, in general, no contact is made with the patient unless otherwise requested.  If the results of the testing are abnormal, we will contact you by phone or mail.
